The Wine

It’s called “Estate” for a reason. We make our wine using only the grapes grown on our own organically-farmed vineyard located on the cool, western end of the Santa Rita Hills in Lompoc, California. Our focus is limited to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wine, although we also have a sparkling wine currently in the works. Our philosophy on our winemaking is much the same as our farming. Provide Justin Willett, our winemaker, with the best possible fruit so the authenticity of the fruit and the terroir come through in the wine, creating an honest wine, unique to our plot in the western Santa Rita Hills. Justin is one part shepherd and one part gifted winemaker. He knows that sometimes the most important thing to do in the cellar is to get out of the way.
